HVA NEWSLETTER

To view the newsletter, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader.  If Adobe Reader is not installed on your computer, visit the Adobe website to get a free copy.  For a hard copy (current publication only) call 020 7241 4443
 
Every voluntary and community organisation registered with HVA receives a free subscription to the HVA Newsletter.  If you would like an extra copies for your organisation you can pay a subscription of £25 for 2 extra copies and £50 for 6 extra copies.  Contact HVA on 020 7241 4443 ext 20
 
Advertisements:  The Newsletter goes out to over 1200 groups.  Local voluntary and community organisations can place small advertisements FREE in the Newsletter Noticeboard section.  You can also place an insert in the Newsletter, but we do have a charge for this service.  Our rates are:
 
HVA Members   £130
Non-Members    £200
 
You will need to send us at least 1000 copies of your insert (maximum 2 sides A4).  Or you can email the insert for an extra charge of £40 we will print out the relevant number of copies for you.

NEWSLETTER SURVEY 2004/2005
 
Thank you to all organisations that completed the HVA Survey 2004/2005.  We have now collated the information provided and are pleased by the result that the HVA Newsletter has been of advantage to a most of the community groups in Hackney.
 
Survey Results:
84% of you stated that they found the newsletter useful and gained new information from it.
76% stated the funding section as the most useful part of the newsletter with the Information and general news articles coming in second as the most useful. 
Of the information articles, most groups found the legal articles most helpful. 
 
Topics groups would like to see more of include:
- employment law updates
- quality mark
- human resources and management
- good practice
