Who are the events for?
As part of the awareness raising and consultation activities on the Draft Hackney Compact, we are running a series of workshop style events. Please let us know if you need a tailored briefing or presentation for your group.
These consultation workshops are to encourage frontline organisations across the Statutory, Public, Voluntary, Faith and Community Sectors to give their views and comments about the Draft Hackney Compact and any matter that they think should be included in the Hackney Compact or the Codes.
What will be covered?
Each consultation event will provide an opportunity for participants to network and identify particular key points on how the draft Hackney Compact can be improved. The consultation event will enable sectors to give their views on the Hackney Compact and suggest improvements.
The Hackney Compact - Partnership and Working Together
There are many partnerships that have a strategic role in the planning of services across the LB Hackney and therefore all joint partnership working will be underpinned by the Hackney Compact.
The Voluntary, Faith and Community Sectors play a key role in the Hackney Strategic Partnership Board (HSP) and other sub forums.
Giving Your Views
The development of a local Hackney Compact is a welcome advance in our Borough’s move towards more joint partnership working, planning and tackling of social inequalities. The Statutory, Public, Voluntary, Faith and Community Sector's role in delivering on this agenda is seen as crucial and therefore this is YOUR opportunity to comment on the Draft Hackney Compact.
Follow-on
Feedback from the consultation workshops will form part of the 2006 / 07 Action Plan for implementing the Hackney Compact and developing the Codes of Good Practice.
